Job Description
Since 1993 Woodbridge International’s ground-breaking approach to marketing a company globally has transformed the way the sell-side Merger & Acquisitions industry does business. We are looking for qualified candidates to join our Ambassador team.
The Ambassadors are on the frontlines – they are our representatives to business owners. Ambassadors are responsible for making the first contact with business owners via the phone and building rapport, trust, and excitement around how we can help them. They contribute to and set in motion what could be the biggest event in the business owner’s life – the sale of their business.
A successful Ambassador will have the following qualities:
- Confidence, professionalism, passion, self-motivation & enjoying being a part of a team
- Experience working around or communicating with business owners and other decision-makers
- Experience making first impressions over the phone
- Experience and success in administrative, customer service & sales roles
- Mastery of the art of active listening and skilled at asking questions.
- Ability to maintain composure and instill trust
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Making multiple outbound calls to potential clients
- Update database information as needed
- Sharing information about the any by following call scripts
- Facilitating future contacts
- Maintaining a record of calls through a computerized system
- Ensuring all calls are recorded properly
Requirements:
- Comfortable making cold calls and talking to new people all-day
- Excellent verbal communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential clients
- Persuasive and goal-oriented
- Possesses an energetic, professional, and friendly demeanor
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- High school degree or equivalent
- Previous cold calling experience in outbound call center or related experience preferred
- Excellent verbal communication skills; able to demonstrate patience and enthusiasm while communicating with potential customers
- Able to professionally and confidently communicate with diverse groups of people
- Tenacity to handle rejection and continue on with a positive attitude when reaching next potential customer
