Jonathan de Villiers

Jonathan is a Senior Associate in Mariner’s investment banking division, where he supports marketing strategy and develops content and tools for deal origination and referral partner engagement. He brings more than a decade of sales and marketing experience, along with an operator’s perspective shaped by earlier work in medical supply operations and hospitality in South Africa.

Before moving into marketing, Jonathan was a Team Lead on Mariner’s Business Writing team and worked on some of the firm’s largest engagements. He helped evolve how Mariner develops transaction materials and gathers company information, creating a more flexible approach suited to the range of businesses the firm serves.

Jonathan is currently pursuing a BCom in Business Management and holds the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) certification.
