Woodbridge International, a leading global mergers and acquisition firm, today announces the appointment of Stryker-Munley Group (SMG) as its public relations and communications agency of record.
Celebrating its 30th year helping businesses looking to sell and connect with the right buyer, Woodbridge International has developed a proprietary marketing-centered approach to selling businesses in up and down markets. Having created a global auction through its innovative marketing approach, Woodbridge reaches thousands of potential buyers around the globe resulting in more bids, more sales and the best fit between seller and buyer.
“Selling your business is personal,” states Robert Koenig, Woodbridge International’s founder. “Our clients put their business in our hands and we must reward that trust with an all-in determination and worth ethic. Most of all, we must reward that trust with results. In interviewing potential PR agencies, we found that David Thalberg and SMG share the same work-product ethic we do, making them the right partner in helping us build our brand awareness.”
While the pandemic laid havoc on global economies, Woodbridge International’s system still were able to successfully close on a record number of deals, growing from 13 businesses sold in 2020 to 27 business sold in 2021, with 2022 looking to be a record-breaking year.
“It’s exciting to work with a company with so much grit and determination to make the selling process not only profitable for its clients, but who also takes the time to insure it is the right culturally fit partner,” states Stryker-Munley Group President, David Thalberg. “Robert and his team understand the importance of marketing, which is a huge plus, as we reach out to media and content creators. We will be able to offer client success case studies along with timely research and data about M & A that makes a mark in this competitive industry.”
SMG will manage all public relations, outside communications and media relations, develop content for trade media and social media channels, and work with related associations and organizations to share additional content and manage speaking opportunities.
With offices in the United States and Cape Town South Africa, Woodbridge International has set the gold-standard for lower, middle market M & A firms and for those companies looking to sell their most valuable and personal asset to the right organization.
Woodbridge International’s ground-breaking approach to marketing a company globally has transformed the way the sell-side M&A industry does business.
