Woodbridge International, a global mergers and acquisitions firm specializing in middle-market transactions, is pleased to announce the opening of its new office in Scandinavia. Based in Stockholm, Sweden, Woodbridge’s office will be led by seasoned dealmakers Sten Johansson and Joakim Sundqvist.
The new location in Sweden will allow Woodbridge to provide a range of M&A advisory services to Swedish and other Scandinavian companies seeking advisory services related to acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures.
Sten Johansson has advised sellers and buyers of medium-sized companies for the past 10 years. Prior to heading up Woodbridge’s Stockholm office, he served as Controller, CFO and CEO for leading Swedish industrial companies such as Skanska and Trelleborg. He has also served as an investment manager at a venture capital firm and as a management consultant with Ernst & Young. Sten holds a BBA and an MBA in Finance and Economics from Uppsala University.
Joakim Sundqvist is an experienced M&A advisor who has worked with sellers and buyers for the past 20 years. He has managed numerous transactions, domestic and cross-border, in a wide range of industries and has successfully advised middle market companies of all sizes. He is also a corporate attorney who practiced business law for several years. Joakim holds degrees in Law and Finance from Stockholm University.
