Woodbridge Opens European Office To Extend M&A Activity Abroad

New Haven, Connecticut – April 5, 2006 – Expanding beyond the U.S. to establish a global presence, Woodbridge Inc., a leading middle-market mergers and acquisitions advisory firm, is pleased to announce the opening of its European office in Hellendoorn, The Netherlands. The new branch is centrally located and enhances the firm’s ability to market qualified sell-side and buy-side clients internationally. From its European headquarters, Woodbridge plans to roll out its successful M&A methodology to M&A markets in Europe and Asia.

Dirk-Jan Vorgers, a seasoned Dutch mergers and acquisitions dealmaker, will manage Woodbridge’s European operations and work closely with the firm’s senior dealmakers based in the U.S. Before joining Woodbridge Europe, Mr. Vorgers was a principal of the Vorgers Bower Group, an international consulting firm providing advisory services on business development and mergers and acquisitions.
