Woodbridge International is pleased to announce the sale of its client, Queens, New York-based Academy Fire Protection (AFP) to a U.S.-based private equity firm.
The acquirer purchased AFP as an add-on acquisition to a portfolio company in a related industry.
AFP provides inspection, installation and repair of portable fire extinguishers, fire sprinklers, non-proprietary fire alarms and restaurant suppression systems for a range of Fortune 500 retailers and other companies across the country. The company services over 77,000 locations across the U.S.
Woodbridge brought AFP to market in May 2012 and closed the deal on December 21, 2012.
