Woodbridge International, a mergers and acquisitions firm focused on middle market companies, has expanded its global footprint again by launching its new Australia office. Seasoned M&A professional David Burgess will be leading Woodbridge’s Sydney based Team.
The new affiliation with David will enable Woodbridge to provide a full range of cross-border investment banking services into and out of Australia.
First City Corporate Advisory Services was founded by David and James Taylor in 1996. In 17 years they have handled over 180 engagements — covering M&A, capital raising, valuations, independent expert’s reports and strategy advice. They have been involved in many transactions involving financial services, technology, health and industrial services. Their clients have ranged from start-ups to a number of Fortune 500 companies.
Prior to founding First City, David had 12 years senior management experience with HSBC Group in Australia. He holds a B.Bus from University of Technology, Sydney and is a Chartered Financial Analyst and member of the CFA Institute.
Woodbridge is delighted to welcome David and his Australasian colleagues to its international team and looks forward to providing Australian companies with the local knowledge, expertise and global reach they demand.
