Woodbridge International, an innovative mergers and acquisitions advisory firm focused on middle market companies is seeking a Global M&A Marketing Associate.Located in the New Haven, CT area, we provide sell-side advisory services to companies across a broad range of industries, managing deals with a transaction value of $5 million-$250 million.
This is an entry level position for either a recent graduate or a candidate with up to three years of work experience who wants to enter the exciting world of Mergers & Acquisitions by joining a growing team at a boutique investment banking firm. You will work with Entrepreneurs, CEOs and Presidents. You must be motivated, process-driven, enjoy a fast-pace and love teamwork but can work independently as well.
Responsibilities:
Meet with clients and travel as needed
Develop relationships with clients
Collaborate with research team on potential buyer list
Engage in conversations with potential buyers – CEOs, Presidents, Managing Directors, CFO’s
Communicate regularly with buyers via email and phone
Drive deal momentum by updating buyers weekly with new client information
Ensure buyers follow the Woodbridge timeline
Provide client with weekly status on campaign marketing to give valuable updates on campaigns and offer constructive feedback on mitigating the process
Work with the Underwriting and Closing team throughout the deal process
Solicit bids from all buyers (globally)
Transition bids to Closing team
Attend weekly client marketing meetings
Become our client’s biggest advocate to buyers
Participate in multiple campaigns simultaneously
Educate oneself in a multiple variety of identified industry and business sectors
Requirements:
Recent graduate or 1-3 Years of Business Experience
A Bachelor’s Degree – preferably in Business, Marketing, Finance or Economics
Goal oriented: Connect with every potential buyer and solicit bids
Hard working, , motivated, team player
Ability to be at ease with clients and C-Level contacts globally
Knowledge of:
Software: CRM – Salesforce preferred, MS Office
Research Tools: CapitalIQ, IbisWorld, LinkedIn, Pitchbook
